~Finally~

Within the span of 3 days, I finally made a song and you can listen to it if you really want.

This time included getting semi-familiar with the FL Studio Trial Version (which is like super weird), finding samples I liked, cutting samples into pieces I could use, playing around with melody ideas (I had some really cool ones on day 2 that for some reason I never wrote down), and of course piecing the whole schtick together.

I had originally planned to try a Future Funk song, but LoFi seemed way easier, I found more samples I liked that I thought would go well with the genre, and I didn't really wanna go big on the first song.

What really sucks, is that this isn't even all I planned for. The Trial Version sucks in so many ways, you cant save work and reopen it to start later, it's missing a ton of plugins that are present in the full version (another reason I went with LoFi instead of Future Funk), and on all 3 days, there was a point in time where it stopped responding to what I was doing/clicking on the interface. It had gone unresponsive in 2 hours of me using it, but at this point the 240 mg of caffeine from the Rockstar Energy I drank had begun to run out, and all in all I was just kinda tired of working on it. My brain said to hell with it, and I just went with the last save I put out.

YUNG BAE tho said in his interview that he doesn't spend more than 45 mins on a song before he gets all nitpicky and ultimately bored. But SERIOUSLY how he makes good schtick in less than an hour is beyond me...

Anyways this is the best I can do right now, I still kinda feel sick from all the ice cream I ate on Valentine's, but I'll be sure to give a heads up when I release another song.

Please enjoy this for now,

~CoCo

@JK-FlipFlop Same. I stuck with LMMS, but I occasionally use FL Studio Mobile 3 (Sadness ;( was my most recent FL Studio Mobile 3 song.

@JK-FlipFlop I didn't know either. Apparently, FL Studio Mobile has been around since around 2014, maybe even before then. Before then, one of the best mobile mixers you could get was BeatLabs or LoopLabs. I wish Acoustica could be on mobile (even though I don't know anything much about it, I have just heard great things from it), or maybe even Mixcraft, or LMMS, or Serum. FL Studio Mobile has very little downsides to it, I have very little against it. Also, many people have said that FL Studio Mobile 3 is actually better than FL Studio 12.
